Spacer Damper FDZ Series
A common and undesirable phenomenon in overhead transmission lines is the high frequency and short wave vibration of conductors, shields and overhead communication cables due to natural wind currents. This phenomenon is extremely easy to happen and unavoidable.
Stockbridge Damper Instructions/Descrption
Common anti-vibration methods include installing Stockbridge dampers, damper wires, or a combination of Stockbridge dampers and damper wires. High-frequency vibrations are mainly damped by damping wires, and low-frequency vibrations are mainly damped by anti-vibration dampers. Due to the small span and the low suspension point of the wire, the ordinary span wire generally uses an anti-vibration hammer to prevent vibration. When vibrating, the wire drives the anti-vibration hammer to vibrate together, and the vibration energy of the wire is absorbed by the anti-vibration hammer, thereby protecting the anti-vibration and anti-vibration of the transmission line wire.
Due to the long vibration time under strong wind conditions, it is required to limit the amplitude to a low level, and the amplitude should not exceed 50% of the normal gear. Generally, a combination of damping wire and shock absorber is used. In addition, in some areas where wind vibration conditions are particularly severe, Stockbridge dampers cannot meet the requirements, and damping wires and Stockbridge dampers must be used to suppress wind vibration.
